The Merchants house is a Grade 2 listed Georgian house located in the heart of the City of Bath. Originally used to accommodate the wealthy within a quick sedan commute to the famous healing water of the city.
The Merchants House is located in an area of Bath known as Walcot, which has an abundance of antique shops and architectural gems. The house is conveniently located a few minutes walk from ALL the famous Bath attractions including the new Thermae Spa where you can relax in the heated waters that the Romans discovered. Also close by are the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Jane Austen Museum, The Pump Rooms and many other great Bath attractions.
The House itself is constructed from the famous Bath stone and has been lovingly restored to its former grandeur and tastefully decorated throughout. This is one setting that would make a fantastic romantic break, inspire any business meeting or just a stay over.

   
 


Currently the Merchants House has seven bedrooms with 1 double and 6 twin rooms - details of the rooms can be found here. Each room has a different theme and look to suit you and your needs. The House also has two kitchens, a lounge and a dining room that will seat 14 people.
